What a powerful truth! The more we water that seed in our lives, as we wait for the growth that we know is a direct result, we will be just fine! Staying anchored to the promises God gave us, with obedience, and a heart of gratitude, makes all the difference! God bless you, Em!
All so true. Been there, many times. What I have found is when I focus on someone else's growth, then I grow by leaps. Encouraging, sharing a Bible truth, listening, spending time, these help others grow, and somehow the Holy Spirit turns that into growth in myself, too. This word, through, is so powerful! Thank you, Em.
Wow, so good. Reminds me of a book called Growing Slow (Jennifer Dukes Lee). This is timeless - thank you. I am persevering in doing good work at my job, even with mundane things. I do get frustrated when some don't give attention to details (like not fully researching something before giving an answer). I know each person works differently and in reality we don't operate at 100% all the time, I just prefer to not have to go back and ask questions several times to clarify. I do practice the "don't give a person a fish - instead, teach them how to fish" model of showing coworkers resources. The internal struggle is real. :)
Incredible words. The church needs more messages like yours. It is amazing to experience a variety of pastors, both men and women, who are both knowledgeable, polished, and caring. Unfortunately there is the handful of arrogant and despotic "shepherds" who kill the Spirit...and the church. Your words are timely, profound, and inspiring for those of us who are fighting for justice after being victims of spiritual abuse.

Thank you!
Thank you for this rich encouragement.
You're welcome 🙏🏼
So insightful. Thank you! At times like these I try to remind myself of St.Therese of Lisieux ‘s “The Little Way”. Great perspective…
Amen.

YESSSS! So true focusing on others and building them up is such a healthy way to move forward through our own struggles!!

"Each small obedience is like watering a seed." Yes, the little things matter to God.
Amen!
Perfect encouragement Em. You’ve identified all the areas that snare us, thank you.
