Yes! This is exactly what stood out to me, as well. What encouragement to continue to be faithful in those little things that seemingly don’t really matter and those that only our Heavenly Father witnesses.
Thank you for referencing these scripture verses, too. I want to read over them throughout today at work!
Thank you for sharing your heart and the life lessons you’re learning with us. 😊
Thank you for this article. As I reflect on my week, after reading your article, I am glad I went back again. I was reluctant at first and almost missed the call.
Just because you say yes once doesn’t mean that’s the end of saying yes. Instead it sets the stage and prepares you/us/me for the next one…the next right step…the next yes moment and opportunity.
And this is wild that you should mention going back for this trash as my daughter just shared the other day that researchers found that a bag just like that had been left by a hiker in a cave and the entire microorganism system was upset and altered as this was clearly not good “food” fir them. Well done! 🙌🫶🏼🙏
It seems like such a small thing to pick up a candy wrapper in the forest but the Spirit nudged you to do it! How many little things do we overlook that would take our path back to something we need to be obedient in? For me, your post spoke to me today about this. Second post to do so. It's a confirmation that I need to be obedient in the seemingly small things. Thanks for posting. Have a blessed day!
It's so easy to squash those little nudges... and yet so powerful when we lean in to listen and obey! Thanks for you encouragement. Praying you are quick to respond to the nudges Holy Spirit gives you!
Thank you for this encouragement. I have been working in refugee resettlement and advocacy. I’m really tired. It’s really hard work. There are times I want to walk away from it and do something easier.
But your post encouraged me to serve one more time, one more day.
Oh bless you CJ. Lord, thank you for CJ. Thank you for this incredible, hard and holy work you've called them to. We ask Holy Spirit for a fresh filling and strengthening to lean not on their own strength, but on yours. Thank you that you promise to finish the good work You've started in us. May CJ be encouraged in new ways this week. For Your glory, amen.
This my first read this morning in ET. It is a good word. Thank you for the reminder and encouragement about what really matters in this flashy world we live in. ❤️
“ When Going Back Feels Awkward” ….. this reminds me that the Lord has lead me through difficult places, so I can return to those spaces and walk beside others navigating them. Jesus hasn’t removed my pain. Instead He is using it to show others His love. He is the light in the darkness! 💙🙌
"Every repeated yes, even when unseen in the middle of the woods, participates in God’s mission". Need this reminder every single day!
💛🙏🏼💛

Absolutely! Again, and again... and again. We keep saying "yes"!
Good stuff!!

Whattya know!
I get those nudges too & do my best to follow through. Simple acts of kindness—even a smile can make someone’s day!
They sure can!
