From "give me" to "make me." I love those "whoop-di-doop" moments! Let me tell you, Em. That whoop-di-doop revelation blessed me HUGE this morning--a seed that went deep into my heart and began to grow in my prayers.
Thank you, sister! May God continue to bless the work of your hands and His heart today! xo
I’ve been is self-preservation-mode for several years now, fearful and wary of using the gifts God has given me. Trauma, betrayal and believing the lies the enemy tried to feed me has had me shutdown and unwilling to risk entrance to my guarded heart.
All of that is changing slowly but very surely! From closed fists to cupped hands, I’m cradling those seeds and letting them fall.
Em, I know there were times I was that prodigal, wasting the gifts God bestowed in me -- but not anymore. I am determined to spend the rest of my life scattering good seed, especially through songwriting... like this song I wrote tonight, inspired by your post: Make Me Whatever You Want Me To Be - https://suno.com/s/RJOLVZz1MGxl2osv.
Thank you. I hope you liked it. When inspiration strikes!, you have to go with it.
When I read this paragraph, I said that’s a song: “Make me a hired servant, one who could be dismissed after only a day. Make me whatever you want me to be.” It was the perfect hook.

Oh I’m so glad Nikki! Thanks for encouraging me right back 💛
Using God's gift wisely shows how optimal we are at doing the things we've got to. We'll become the actual faithful servants of God.
Thank you so much for the reminder Sis.
You’re welcome 💛
Thank you for this shift in perspective. What a beautiful reminder of how something so simple can produce greater results.
God, make me into all that You created me to be!
Amen and amen!
