WOW, this episode truly resonated with me. I can honestly say that it's been in the last year that I learned what it looked like to do life with God, and not for God. I also learned that abiding was vital to my walk. It is in the abiding that I was equipped to face what's to come. Time with God is where my strength, understanding, and joy was revived daily.
I really appreciated this podcast today. Several years ago I was volunteering for several different ministries at our church. Later during this season I realized I wasn't using my time to simply "abide" with Jesus on my own.
When I was giving a devotional to a group of women. I had an outline, but God helped me with examples. I wasn't nervous. It was a big step forward after having a rough year in 2024. I am thankful for Mary DeMuth's book on overwhelmed women in the Bible. Priscilla had a lot of transitions and served God with hospitality and by pouring into Apollos (along with her husband Aquila). She bloomed where God planted her.

So glad it resonated! The reminder and call to abide and not strive is one I think I will forever be reminding myself of!

I love this. What a beautiful example of letting God's strength fill in the gaps. So good.
